Yixuan Shuai, Chair
Yixuan Shuai was born in Wuhan, China, in 2001. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2022 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. His research interests include efficient converter topology, control strategy and modulation method for ac motor drive and active magnetic bearing. He has published 10 SCI/EI papers, applied for 10 invention patents. He has won the first prize in “Challenge Cup”, China graduate electronic design competition and the national scholarship in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023.
Pengye Wang, Vice Chair for webmaster
Pengye Wang was born in Jinan, Shandong in 1996.He was born in Shandong, China, in 1996. He received the B.S. degree from the China University of Mining and Technology, Jiangsu, China, in 2019, and the M.S. degree in School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2022, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. His research interests include inverter topology and multiphase motor control systems.
Haoxiang Xu, Vice Chair for event organization
Haoxiang Xu (S’23) was born in Liaoning, China, in 2001. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Nanchang University, Nanchang, China, in 2023. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His current research interests include Intelligent condition monitoring, fault prediction and diagnosis technology of motor drive system.
Guangyu Wang, Vice Chair for technical program
Guangyu Wang (S’23) was born in Jiangxi, China, in 2001. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Dalian Maritime University, Liaoning, China, in 2023. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His current research interests include Multiphase motor control and fault-tolerant control.
Yihua Chen, Vice Chair for finance
Yihua Chen was born in Henan, China, in 2002. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2024 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. His research interests include active magnetic bearing and advanced control strategy.
